She appears in the 1929 Chandler City Directory as a public school teacher.

The 1930 directory said she was a teacher at the Chandler Grammar School and lived at 327 N. California.

The 1931 and 1932 directories  said she was a teacher, and had the same home address. Also living there were Carl H. Bynum and Jasper T. Bynum and his wife Mary.
