He is listed in the 1916,  1917 and 1919 Chandler  City Directories  as a building contractor, married to Eliza Coffman. In the 1918,  1919, 1920 and 1921 directories,  his occupation is given as real estate.
The 1920, 1921, 1923 and 1925 directories also said he and Eliza lived on Commonwealth Avenue.
The 1926 and 1929 directories said his wife was Lydia and that they lived at  311 Commonwealth Ave. Roy Coffman also lived there (1926, 1929).
-Mr. Coffman brought his family to Chandler several weeks ago, and has bought lot number 600 where he has erected a house. Mr. Coffman will make his future home in Chandler. (Chandler Arizonan 4/11/1913)
