-Mr. Duncan of the school board had a visitor this week, a Mr. G.W. Lines of Sterling, Colorado.  Mr. Lines is a railroad man and was impressed with Chandler.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/14/1913)

-Mr. Duncan is going to Los Angeles for several weeks to have surgery on his fingers.  Years ago, he had an accident where he injured his middle fingers, and they still cause him pain after ten surgeries.  He hopes this one will do the trick.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/18/1913)
