He appears in the 1930 Chandler (Arizona) City Directory as a fruitworker, living at 125 S. Colorado. Also living there were Manuel Estrella, his wife Joaquina and another Joaquina.

The 1931 and 1932 directories said Louis was a laborer, living at 119 S. Colorado with Joaquina Estrella (widow of Manuel) and another Manuel Estrella.

The 1940 Chandler Resident Directory said Louis was a laborer and lived with his wife Eva on the west side of south Colorado beyond Boston.
