-The young son of H.W. England had surgery done by Drs. Gilbert and Jordan for adnoids.  He objected to chloroform and had to be held down by three men.  The operation was a success, and he was able to join his parents to the trip to the coast.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/25/1913)
