Esber, Alex
He appears in the 1923, 1925 and 1926 Chandler (Arizona) City Directories as working on dry goods on Boston, near Arizona Ave., and living on south Oregon. His wife was Victoria Esber.
The 1929 directory said he worked in dry goods at 34 E. Boston and that their home was at 243 S. Oregon. The 1930 directory gave the same information but said they lived at 230 N. Oregon.
The 1931 and 1932 city directories said he worked in dry goods at 34 E. Boston and that they lived at 217 S. Oregon.
The 1940 Chandler Resident Directory showed him as the owner of Esber Bargain Store. He and Victoria lived on the east side of south Oregon beyond Chicago. Albert Esber and Louise Esber also apparently lived there and worked at the store.
