-Mr. and Mrs. Ferry were among a group of stockholders and guests for the Mesa Improvement Company and the Consolidated Canal Company.  They arrived on Wednesday in their private car, "Magnet." They are here for the their annual tour of inspection, and will be having their annual meeting and review of the last year's accomplishments.

Other members of the party were Dwight Cutler, Lem W. Bowen, Mr. Hooker, Mr. Gillis, Mr. and Mrs. Sarmiento, Mr. and Mrs. Backus,a nurse, and two children.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/7/1913)

-Mr. Ferry works for the Ferry Seeds Company.

He is here with Thomas Marshall, Elon Hooker, Lem W. Bowen, Dwight Cutler, Standish Backus, T.J. Wolfley, Mr. Gillis, Mr. and Mrs. Sarmiento, and Miss Campau.  They are visiting the townsite with Dr. A.J. Chandler.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/14/1913)

-Mr. Ferry took over his father's position on the Chandler Improvement Company's board when his father, Dexter Mason Ferry Sr., passed away.

This week, the board including himself has retired, because of issues with the distance and the need to be near Chandler, and they didn't have the time to make the necessary trips.
