Farmer, George H.
He is listed in the 1917, 1918 and 1919 Chandler City Directories as a farmer. The 1920 directory shows him as a laborer, living at the Boston Hotel. The 1923 and 1925 directories also showed him living at the Boston Hotel.
-Mr. Farmer, a prosperous land owner in Chandler, has 80 tons of hay on his ranch that he will sell for seven dollars per ton, if it is taken all at once. The hay must be moved by the purchaser. (Chandler Arizonan 3/21/1913)
-Mr. Farmer is one of the wealthiest landowners in the Chandler district. He has 40 acres west of town, which is run by the J. Morgensens, who have 31 cows which are milking.
He believes every farmer should have some cows, because they will always bring in money especially during the period waiting for plants to be harvested. (Chandler Arizonan 4/4/1913)
