-Mr. Gilson of California will be starting a drug store in the corner room of the San Marcos Hotel.  The fixtures have been ordered, and expects to open by the first of August.  He will carry a full line of drugs with soft drinks and sodas.  (Chandler Arizonan 6/27/1913)

-Mr. and Mrs. Gilson arrived on the 11 o'clock train from Riverside via Phoenix.  He has been in the pharmaceuticals business for 19 years in different parts of the country.  He expects more goods and fixtures from Los Angeles in a few days, and hopes to open by the first if it arrives in time.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/25/1913)

-Mr. Gilson's drug store, Chandler Pharmacy, opened on Thursday in the San Marcos Hotel, and has been doing a brisk trade.  He is still waiting for some goods to arrive.
