The 1916 city directory lists him as postmaster but spells the name Gollands. . His wife is Lillian. The  1917 and 1918 Chandler City Directories list  the last name as Gollards.
He is also the postmaster in 1917 and 1918, according to the directories for those years.
In the 1919 directory, George L. Gollands is described as a salesman.
The 1920 directory shows George L. Gollands as assistant cashier at the Bank of Chandler. He and Helen lived on N. Washington Street.
-At the second meeting of the Chandler Egyptian Cotton Growers' Association, Mr. Gollands gave one dollar to be part of the stock list. (Chandler Arizonan 3/28/1913)
