Harmer, Alvin M.

Served as a City Councilmember from May 1923 - June 1926.

He appears in the 1917 Chandler City Directory as a farmer.  In the 1918 Chandler City Directory he is listed as a clerk at Gardner Drug Co., married to Nella E. They don't appear in the 1919 directory but reappear in the 1920 directory as living on Arizona Avenue at the corner of Cleveland.  He is listed in 1920 and 1921 as a co-owner of Gardner & Harmer, a drug store. In the 1920 directory, his wife's name is Nellie.

The 1923 and 1925 directories said he worked in pharmacy at the Gardner Drug Co. and that he and Nella E. lived at 200 Arizona Ave.

The 1926 directory identified the business as H. C. Gardner and said they lived at 20 N. Arizona Ave.
