He appears in the 1930 Chandler City Directory as manager of the new J C Penney Co. store in Chandler. His wife was Margaret A. and they lived at 137 N. Washington.

The 1931 and 1932 directories gave the same information but said they lived at 157 N. Washington.

The 1932 Phoenix Telephone Directory, Chandler section, said he lived north of Chandler and had the phone number 189 or 139.
