He is listed in the 1916 ,  1917, 1918 and 1919 Chandler (Arizona)  City Directories  as being an owner of  the Chandler Hardware & Cycle Co. 

His wife was Olga I.

Also, the 1918 directory shows him co-owning Central Garage, Central Blacksmith Shop  and Chandler Hardware & Cycle Co. with William S. Lemon.

The 1920, 1921, 1923, 1925, 1926 directories said he was an owner of Lemon Bros with Roy G. Lemon.

The 1923 directory identified his wife as Gladys, and said they lived on south Oregon. The 1926 directory said they lived on Chicago.

The 1929, 1930 and 1931  directories said he was an owner of Lemon Bros. and that he lived on south Chicago. The 1930 directory said he lived at 202 W. Chicago.

The 1931 and 1932 directories said he and Gladys lived at the same place.

The 1940 Chandler Resident Directory said he was an owner of Lemons Grocery and that he and Gladys lived on the west side of south Arizona Avenue.
