-Mr. Littlejohn, as a member of the board of directors for the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, approved the use of the building fund for the state highway. (Chandler Arizonan 4/4/1913)

-Mr. Littlejohn is from Boston, Massachusetts, and he has lived in the Imperial Valley. He came to Chandler a little more than a year ago with his son. He purchased 40 acres of land one half mile east of town.

Last October, he planted 17 acres of oats and alfalfa. He disced the oats which was the only cultivation they received and irriagate twice. He got about 40 tons for his 17 acres. He has turned down $10.50 for his seed since he is hoping for a better price.

His real joy are his cows. He has one heifer that gives him five gallons a day which amounts to $21.60 a month. He has 23 cows and registered stock which average nine dollars a month. He doesn't feed them grain, but gives them alfalfa which he says is better. He can feed them all on 12 acres of hay except for during winter.

In the past, he has only sold the whole milk, but now plans to start a dairy business in Chandler to be run by his son.

He has planted many fruit and shade trees. A neat little home has been built and a milking room.

His wife, Lena, is a turkey raiser having raised and disposed of 150 birds last year. (Chandler Arizonan 5/30/1913)

-Mr. Littlejohn was at the meeting of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce meeting on Tuesday where he spoke in favor of getting the deeds for the settlers. He also made a motion to thank the Chandler Improvement Company for all their work. (Chandler Arizonan 5/30/1913)

-Mr. Littlejohn sold his grain hay for $15 a ton to a party in Santa Ana, California, which is the highest price for the Chandler district this season. His crop consists of oats and alfalfa. (Chandler Arizonan 5/30/1913)
