McFadden, William
Mr. McFadden for the Dallas Gin concern said he would have a proposition within a month for a gin. He has a saw gin. (Chandler Arizonan 5/16/1913)
Mr. McFadden represents the Murray Ginning Company of Dallas, Texas, and lives in Phoenix.
He attended both the Mesa association meeting, and the the Chandler Egyptian Cotton Growers' Association on Saturday. He told the Chandler group that Mesa planned to charge ten dollars a bale at their new gin with six dollars being the actual cost, and four dollars being for the running of the gin. They will charge twelve dollars for outsiders.
He also told the group he would have his company build a saw gin in Chandler if tests on the Egyptian Cotton proved positive. If the gin was successful he would hand it over to them in a year. He got positive feedback, but the association was unsure if the saw gin could do the work. They told him to come back when he knew. (Chandler Arizonan 5/30/1913)
