-Mrs. Albert T Parkinson spent most of Monday trying to stop her daughter, Audrey, from eloping with Rex Cooper. She tried to call the license office, but they would have to hand over a license if both are of legal age. Then she called the Chief of Police Moore, who had agreed to send a policeman to meet the train her husband, Albert, was on. (Chandler Arizonan 6/20/1913)
