Pleasant, W. P. (William)
-Mr. Pleasant is employed at the San Marcos Hotel.
He purchased lot number 647 in Chandler.

-Mr. Pleasant is the general carpenter at the San Marcos Hotel, and has been in Chandler the past year.
He has purchased a $300 lot in the southwest part of town. He will shortly build a home on the land. (Chandler Arizonan 3/7/1913)

-Mr. Pleasant was the main chef at the barbecue held at the 4th of July celebration.
He is said to be modest about his food saying it would have been better with grain hay instead of alfalfa hay. (Chandler Arizonan 7/11/1913)
The 1916 and 1917 Chandler directories list William P. Pleasant as a building contractor. In the 1920 and 1921 directories,  he appears as a building contractor, with Ethel as his wife. They lived on Boston Street. Samuel Pleasant lived with them. (also 1921)
The 1923Â and 1925 Â directories said he was a carpenter and that he and Ethel lived on south California and then south Dakota. The 1929 directory also said he was a carpenter and that they lived at 373 N. Dakota. The 1930 directory gave their address as 240 S. California and said he was a carpenter.
He also appears in the 1931 and 1932 directories as a carpenter, liivng with Ethel at 210 S. California.
