-Mr. Pyatt and family is from Taft, California.

They arrived last Tuesday to take up their twenty acres south of town.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/21/1913)

-At the first meeting of the Egyptian Cotton Growers' Association, Mr. Pyatt pledged to grow a certain amount of cotton this year.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/28/1913)

-Mr. Pyatt has put in about ten acres of cotton on his land.  Before planting, he plowed thoroughly and soaked the ground with water.  He hasn't watered since, but has regularly cultivated it.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/2/1913)
