He appears in the 1919 Chandler City Directory as a farmer.  His wife was Estelle.

The 1930, 1931 and 1932 directories  just said C. B. Sanborn lived on Route 1.

In the 1932 Phoenix Telephone Directory, Chandler section, he appears as living on a ranch northeast of Chandler, with the phone number 71-J4.
