Shapiro, Dave

Dave Shapiro is the current athletic director and dean of students at Chandler High School.  He began coaching at Chandler High in 1982.  Dave has coached track and field and cross country at various times throughout his career, coaching numerous student athletes to state championships and collegiate careers.  Dave took over planning and organization of the Chandler Rotary Track Meet upon his arrive at Chandler High, and has grown it into one of the largest track meets in the country.  He is currently in the process of growing a similar volleyball tournament.
