Stowe, Mark W.

Councilmember from June 1934 - May 1937

He is listed in the 1918 Chandler City Directory as a barber, for F.S. Seaver. His wife was Martha A. In the 1919, 1920 and 1921 directories, their last name is spelled Stowe.

The 1920 and 1921 directories  said he was a deputy sheriff and that he and Martha lived on California St.

The 1923 directory said he was superintendent of buildings for the Chandler Public Schools. He and Martha lived at 242 California. Floyd Stow lived at the same address.

In the 1925 directory, Mark Stow is listed as a painter, living with Martha at the Plaza Hotel. The 1926 directory identified his wife as Bertha, and said they lived at the Plaza Hotel. 

He is also identified as a painter in the 1929 directory, residing at the Plaza Hotel. The 1930 directory just said he and Martha lived at 2 W. Boston.

The 1931 and 1932 directories said he was a painter, and that he and Martha lived at the Plaza Hotel, which she managed.
