The 1930 directory said he was a chauffeur at O. S. Stapley Inc. and that he and Willie lived at 124 S. Colorado. Edyth Veatch also lived there.

In the 1931 and 1932 directories, he is listed as a mechanic at O. S. Stapley. His wife was named Willie (Dessie), and they lived at 124 S. Colorado.
