He appears in the 1919 and 1920 Chandler City Directories as a clerk at the Delmer Williams Store. 

The 1920, 1921 and 1923 directories said he lived with Delmer Williams.

The 1923 directory said he was the assistant postmaster.

In the 1925 directory, he is listed as assistant postmaster, still living with Delmer Williams.
