-Mr. Ayers runs the general store in Gilbert, and is well-known in his district.

Last Wednesday, he married Iva Louise Stall.  They will be home for family and friends starting February 25th in Gilbert.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/21/1913)

-Mr. Ayers will lead the Christian Endeavor meeting next Sunday before the church services.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/14/1913)

-Mr. and Mrs. Ayers were chaperones for young folks to go up to the division gates where they did some rowing and bathing.  It was an all day picnic held on Sunday.

The young folks who attended were Marguerit Schultz, Myrtle Lines, Viola Wilson, Nellie Wilson, Betty Ware, Ada Ware, Harry Lacy, Leonard Lacy, Ted Lacy, John Stall, John Eddy, Ward Burk, Lyman Houk, Roy Ayers, and Chester Van Etten.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/25/1913)
