The Vagabonds

The Vagabonds was a women's organization formed by Chandler schoolteachers and friends in 1929. The organization was affiliated with the Y.W.C.A.

Their executive council at the time of their founding consisted of:

• Olive Goodykoontz, President

• Ada McCoy, Vice President

• Dorothy Brion, Secretary-Treasurer

• Leola Worley, Chairman of Entertainment

• Ruth H. Phillips, Chairman of Initiation

• Margaret K. Stewart, Chairman of Publicity
