02. Feedlots

Feedlots were an important part of agricultural business.  Jackson Bogle looks over the Bogle feedlot on Frye Road.  The Bogles bought the last of Dr. Chandler’s land in 1946, shortly before they sold the Pecos Valley Alfalfa Mill and moved into cattle ranching.  In purchasing 1500 acres in Chandler, they added to their substantial landholdings across the West. Jackson and Barbara Bogle became important community builders.
