Bernard, Albert

He appears in the 1916 and 1917 Chandler City Directories as a rancher and in the 1918 and 1919 Chandler City Directories  as a farmer. 

The 1923 and 1925 directories gives his address as RD 1, Box 34.

A. Bernard appears in the 1932 Phoenix Telephone Directory, Chandler section, as living on Cincinnati Av., with the phone number 86-J3.

-Mr. Bernard is selling horses including one named Mike which is an Austin Shire stallion.  He lives in section 31, 2.5 miles southeast of Chandler.  (Chandler Arizonan 12/20/1912)

-Mr. Bernard who already owns 40 acres has bought 20 more acres from the Chandler Improvement Company.  His land is west of town, and the new purchase adjoins his own. 

He is an expert hog raiser, and needs the land to expand.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/2/1913)
