Bernasconi, Rosa

Seton High School’s Rosa Bernasconi’s basketball career was one for the record books.  Her achievements put her in a category as one of the top high school basketball players ever in Chandler. An outstanding point guard, Rosa led Seton to a 110-7 record and two 2A State Championships in her four years at the school.  She not only gained All-State and All-American honors but was also name the Gatorade Arizona Player of the Year after her senior season. After graduation from Seton, Rosa received a scholarship to Loyola Marymount University where after just 3 games in her freshman year she earned the starting point guard position. Although she missed most of her junior season due to injuries, Rosa still ranks at or near the top on many of LMU’s career and single game record categories including points per game, assists, and steals.
