Basha, Najeeby

She appears in the 1923, 1925, 1926, 1929, 1930, 1931 and 1932 Chandler City Directories as the wife of Nejeeb N. Basha. Isaac N. Basha lived with them. The 1929 directory said they lived at 320 N. Washington.

The 1930 directory said they lived at 341 N. Washington and that Edwin Basha, Isaac N. Basha and Laurice Basha lived at the same address. The 1931 and 1932 directories said they lived at 241 N. Washington.

In the 1940 Chandler Resident Directory, she is listed as the widow of N. N. Basha. She lived on the west side of north Washington, beyond Detroit and had the phone number 124.

In 1932, Najeeb passed away, leaving Najeeby and her two sons, Ike and Eddie Sr., to run the family business (as well as daughters Edna, Mary, Connie, Zelma and Camille). (from the site below)
