Chandler Pool Hall

-Claude Hanna and H. Callahan are co-owners.

The pool hall keeps a sportsman like conduct, and is a model of cleanliness.  They are trying to keep it respectable place for the best class of people.  They have added a line of magazines recently.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/7/1913)

-The pool hall will now carry the famous Donofrio ice cream of Phoenix.  Mr. Callahan and Hanna will be serving the cream either plain or in sundaes with an assortment of fresh fruit flavors.  They have installed an ice cooler.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/4/1913)

-The pool hall gave three dollars for the 4th of July celebration.  (Chandler Arizonan 6/20/1913)

-Last Thursday, Harold Callahan bought out Claude Hanna's share in the pool hall.  He has employed David Crisp to aid in the running of the pool hall.

Callahan and Hanna have been running the hall together since the fall, and owning it since December.

Mr. Callahan plans to continue running it the same way, and keep it a respectable place.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/18/1913)

-The pool hall will have some changes made.  The entrance has been moved to the end of the building.  Mr. Callahan is erecting a counter on the front of the structure.  He is installing a soda fountain, and will be able to serve ice cream sodas, phosphates, and all carbonated drinks.  It will also carry crushed fruits, and extracts of all kinds.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/25/1913)
