Bickford, Kim
While at Chandler High, Kim Bickford earned a number of athletic achievements, including top softball pitcher in Arizona. In her senior year the Chandler Wolves won 16 games with only one loss. She was also a top badminton player, leading the Chandler Wolves to the 1979 State Championship. While attending Mesa Community College and Arizona State University she earned All American Honors in softball. Kim still holds the second lowest career ERA in ASU softball history at 0.55, and has the third lowest single season ERA at 0.38 in 1984. Bickford, one half of the only father-daughter tandem to be inducted into the Chandler Sports Hall of Fame along with father Jay Bob Bickford, was inducted into the Arizona Softball Foundation Hall of Fame in 2011. Her induction into the Chandler Sports Hall of Fame came in 2005.
