Description: Postcard with view of bungalows and Orange Vista on the grounds of the San Marcos Hotel. Photo taken from the second floor patio on the west side of the main building. Handwritten note on back reads: Dear Walt: Just a line. I am leaving to-night for home, it will seem good to have side walks so I won’t get gravel and dirt in my shoes. This is a small town, but it is building up fast. One half the pedestrian’s seem to be indians. My train is 1 hr + 35 mi late, I have a nice long wait. As ever P.R.M.
