Beckham, Charles M.

In 1914, Beckham was elected as the Constable for Chandler as a democratic candidate.

Listed in the 1916 , 1917, 1918, 1919 , 1920 and 1923 Chandler City Directories.   He is married to Quintilla ("Tilla") , according to the 1916 directory and Lilla in the 1917 directory.  He is the City Marshall1

The 1918 Chandler City Directory lists him as a constable and salesman for J. L. Entrekin. But the 1919 directory lists him just as a constable. In the 1920 directory, he is described as the sheriff, and he and Quintilla have a house on Oregon Street.

The 1921 directory calls him a county constable.

The 1923 and 1925 directories spell shis wife's name Contilia. He and Contilla also appear in the 1925 directory as living on Oregon St.

In the 1926 directory, he appears  as a carpenter, living with Tilla and Roderick Beckham on north California.

The 1929 directory said he and Lilla lived at 120 N. Dakota.

The 1931 and 1932 directories said he was a bridge builder and that he and Quintilla lived at 130 N. Dakota. Anna L. Beckham, a student, also lived there.

The 1940 Chandler Resident Directory said he was a carpenter and that he and Tilla lived on the west side of north California, beyond Cleveland.
