He is listed in the 1929 Chandler City Directory as a farmer. His wife was Gertrude. They lived at 102 N. Dakota.
The 1930 directory said he was a rancher and that he and Gertrude lived at 112 N. Dakota. The 1931 directory also called him a rancher and gave their address as P. O. Box 314.
