G. C. Dobbins appears in the 1919 Chandler (Arizona) City Directory as a farmer and in the 1920, 1921, 1923 and 1925 directories as a rancher.
The 1930 directory said Grover C. Dobbins was a rancher, living at 121 S. California with his wife Ruth.
In the 1940 Chandler Resident Directory, Grover C. Dobbins is listed as a custodian at Chandler Schools. He and Ruth lived on the north side of west Boston beyond California. Also living there were Buford Dobbins and Edith Dobbins.
