Brown, Frankie

One of the most successful wrestlers ever to come out of the Chandler school district, Chandler High School’s Frankie Brown earned not only state wide and national recognition, but competed worldwide as well. A four year varsity letterman for the Wolves and his team‘s Most Valuable Player, Brown’s list of accomplishments are hard to beat. His career record at CHS was 85 wins and 21 losses, including a perfect 25-0 mark as a senior. Wrestling at the 179 pound weight class Brown won three 3-A Arizona Divisional Championships, including being the first CHS sophomore to do so, and two 3-A State Championships in his junior and senior year.  As a senior, Brown competed in the Junior World Freestyle-National AAU Olympic Junior Championships and finished a highly respectable 5th. His performance earned him a spot on the AAU/United States-Europe Cultural Exchange Team that traveled to Poland. Brown’s record in that competition was a near flawless 9 wins vs. 1 loss.
