-Mr. Quartier has purchased 22 head of cows from T. J. Ware.  He hopes to get into the dairying business after he gets an efficient amount of cows.

His ranch is south of Chandler, and he is growing alfalfa.  He is planning to feed his cows from his own crop.  (Chandler Arizonan 1/17/1913)

-Mr. Quartier was hosting a prayer meeting when F. I. Berry had an accident on his way there.  (Chandler Arizonan 1/31/1913)

-Mr. Quartier sold T. J. Heady twenty acres of his eighty in section 15, and the two have gone into the dairying business.  They already have 52 heads of cows on the place.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/21/1913)

-Mr. Quartier left for Rocky Ford, Colorado on Sunday.  There he plans to take care of his wife's, Olive, 80 acres.  He will also go to Denver where he will take care of other business matters and visit friends.  He was accompanied by Mr. Sutherland.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/21/1913)

-Mr. Quartier has just returned from Colorado, where the temperature was 20 below zero, and tons of snow.  He said he encountered snow all the way to about four miles before Phoenix.  He said it was the most disagreeable trip he ever made.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/7/1913)

-Mr. Quartier and T. J. Heady have dissolved their dairying business partnership.  Their fights were so acromonoius that Mr. Heady signed a warrant for Mr. Quartier's arrest to keep the peace.  Constable Burton of Mesa came over Wednesday to serve it.  E.E.
