He appears in the 1917 and 1919 Chandler City Directories as a farmer. in the 1918 Chandler City Directory, he is listed as working in second-hand goods. His wife is Anne. Also, the name is spelled Hunsacker sometimes.

The 1920 and 1921 directories said he was a laborer and that he and Anne lived on Colorado Street.

Ivan Hunsaker and Violet Hunsaker lived with them, according to the 1920 and 1921 directories.

The 1923 directory said Anne was the widow of Gordon.

Mr. Hunsaker helped capture an insane man who liked to dig holes looking for gold.
