-Owner of the Hotel Plenty, whose offices located at Arizona Avenue and Commonwealth until the Arizonan moved in.  Also owns a food house known as a food emporium.  (Chandler Arizonan 1/31/1913)

-Served a 25 pound turkey with fixings at the hotel for Vice President elect Thomas Marshall and other out of town guests.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/14/1913)

-Was under the weather early part of the week, and then had a bad attack on Sunday which laid him on his back for several days.  The last few weeks have been grinding for him with a growing number of guests, and serving distinguished guests last week.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/14/1913)

-Suffering from a severe cold in the head and throat.  He has been complaining for several weeks, and took to his bed on Tuesday at doctor's orders.  He will remain quiet for several days.  (Chandler Arizonan 3/14/1913)

-Is trying out a new phonic photo devices.  He has bought a camera that takes your photo, develops, and prints in a minute and a half.  A crowd on Sunday was so intrigued that they wanted their photos taken, but Mr. Plenty soon ran out.  He has ordered new film, and hopes to take many pictures at the 4th of July celebration.  (Chandler Arizonan 7/4/1913)
