-Mr. Trainer, Chandler barber, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon by Sheriff Jeff Adams for bootlegging. A search was done, and the only thing found was Sweet Cider in several barrels. Messrs. Freeman, Holly, and others tested it and claimed it harmless. Sheriff Adams did not try it on the grounds that he doesn't drink.Â

-Mr. Trainer was acquitted of bootlegging. The jury was out only 15 minutes, and one jury man told Mr. Trainer that he believed he was being set up.
H.B. Herman had been sent by the Sheriff's office to investigate Mr. Trainer. He had sent 15 men in who asked for whiskey, and they were denied.
Witnesses from Chandler included Gordon Hunsacker, Cecil Parkinson, R. Cleveland, and Chris Gibson.
Mr. Trainer will be going to his ranch in Higley where he will farm for a year or two.
