Ward, Robert E. (R. E.)

Served as a City Councilmember from June 1928 - 1933.

Robert E. Ward is listed in the 1923 and 1925 Chandler City Directories as an auto operator or chauffeur for Chandler Transfer Co. He and his wife Josephine lived on south Oregon St.

The 1926 directory gave the same information but said he was a machinist.

The 1929 directory said Robert E. Ward was a councilman and that he and Josephine lived at 201 S. Oregon.

In the 1930 directory, he appears as a councilman and auto repairman, working at 131 W. Chicago. The residence stayed the same.

The 1931 and 1932 directories gave the same infornation but said he was working in auto repair at 21 W. Chicago.
