The DeWitt Bros. ranching company is included in the 1916 Chandler directory. 

DeWitt Jersey Dairy appears in the 1930 dairy as being owned by J. V. DeWitt, John DeWitt, Frank DeWitt and Lynn DeWitt. It was at 110 S. California. Most of the owners lived there.

The 1932 Phoenix Telephone Directory, Chandler section, said DeWitt Dairy was southeast of Chandler and had the phone number 82-J11.
