-Mr. Stevens was one of the speakers at the first meeting of the Chandler Egyptian Cotton Growers' Association. He was also named to a committee who would travel to Mesa to see about affliating with their association. At the end of the meeting, he pledged to grow a certain amount of acres of cotton.
