She was attired in white voile over white messaline with handmade lace.

Mildred Clemens was her attendant.  The best man was Ralph Jaycox.  The wedding was at 4 instead of 10 due to the Reverend not being there.

There was a wedding lunch served with bread and butter, chicken salad, salted almonds, olives, ice cream, cake, and coffee.  There was a pink and white color scheme.

The place cards were hand-painted.

After the well-wishes, the couple left for the home of the groom south of town.  A wedding trip will be taken later.

The wedding had a small guest list.  Among those who attended were Mrs. M.E. Peeler, mother of the groom, Mrs. Hodge, groom's 85 years old grandmother, who was brought by auto by Mr. Gollands.  Also attending was Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Morris, Miss Madge Peeler, sister of groom, Ella Page Seward, Ralph and Lester Jaycox, and Wayne Heffner.
