He appears in the 1929 Chandler City Directory as a mechanic working for S. D. Butterfield. His wife was Pearl, and they lived on north Dakota.

The 1930 directory said he was a mechanic for H. S. Kerby and that he and Pearl E. lived at 217 N. Dakota. Louise Stewart also lived there in 1930.

He could be the same as or related to the Louis Stewart who became a World War II veteran.

The 1931 and 1932 directories said Lewis F. Stewart was a mechanic and that he and Pearl E. lived at 205 N. Dakota.
