This grocery store is listed in the 1940 Chandler (Arizona) Resident Directory as being on the west side of south Arizona. the owner was William N. Gaylord.

The building later became the Gaylord Brothers Grocery Store and the building would house many occupants over the years, including Brunchies in the 2000s.
