-Mr. Berg of Los Angeles will be replacing George H. Binkley as Chief Engineer for the Chandler Improvement Company.  For the last two years, he was chief engineer of the Palo Verde Valley Mutual Water Company of Palo Verde, California.  Prior to that for six years he was working for the Southern Pacific.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/2/1913)

-Mr. Berg was the one who decided to use the Beyerle Machine Shops in Mesa instead of shipping the pumps to the coast.
