-Mr. Blakely is the field engineer for the Chandler Improvement Company.

He has been spending the past few days on his ranch in section 38 to make preparations for putting in crops.  (Chandler Arizonan 2/28/1913)

-Mr. Blakely will be leaving on April 14th to move to Malheur County, Oregon, where he has a desert claim.

He made a topographical survey of unsold lands in township two which compromises 3,000 acres.  Most of this land has been cleared.  He surveyed about 2,000 acres which showed one foot contours.  (Chandler Arizonan 4/11/1913)

-Mr. Blakely has wed, Miss Esther C. Buckner, which came as a surprise to many when the announcements arrived here from Oregon.  The wedding was held on April 20th in Ontario, Oregon.  (Chandler Arizonan 5/2/1913)
