Hayes, Jasper L.

He is listed in the 1917 and 1918 Chandler (Arizona) City Directories as a blacksmith. The 1918 directory lists his wife as Ida.

In the 1919 directory, he is listed as a dyer and cleaner.  In the 1920, 1921 and 1923 directories he appears as a clothes cleaner at Boston, corner of California. His wife was listed as Idella in 1919 and 1920 and Ida in 1918.

The 1923 directory said he and Idella lived where he worked, on Boston at the corner of California.

The 1925 and 1926 directories said he was a tailor. His wife was identified as Idellar in 1925 and Idella in 1926. The 1926 directory said he worked at 119 W. Boston .

The 1929 and 1930 directories said he worked as a clothes cleaner at 99 W. Boston and that he and Idellar lived at 199b S. California.

The 1931 and 1932 directories said he worked as a clothes cleaner at 119 W. Boston and lived at the rear of that business.

Jasper and Della Hayes also appear in the 1940 Chandler Resident Directory as living on the east side of South California beyond Boston.
