He appears in the 1929 Chandler City Directory as living at 398 N. Dakota. His wife was Gertrude.

The 1930 directory said Charles was a laborer and that he and E. Gertrude lived at 373 N. Dakota. The 1931 and 1932 directories gave the same information but without an occupation.
